FPInnovations has chosen L&W Bursting Strength Tester to assign reference values for standardized aluminum foils.

We are extremely proud that FPInnovations, after careful consideration, has chosen L&W Bursting Strength Tester instrument to provide this service to the world pulp and paper, textile, and pharmaceutical industries.

FPInnovations Quality Assurance Laboratory is ISO 17025-accredited and is the reference for clients in over 40 countries in the pulp and paper, textile, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for equipment manufacturers. They use our standard reference materials and programs to calibrate equipment, validate test results and ensure compliance with customer specifications, PAPTAC, Tappi, and ISO Standards and recognize our expertise as suppliers of reference materials.

Long history
FPInnovations Quality Assurance & Optics Laboratory has a long history as being the reference laboratory for checking the overall performance of Burst testers around the world and is the only ISO accredited testing laboratory authorized to produce this material.

FPInnovations standardized aluminum foil are used by different laboratories around the world for checking and validating the overall performance of Burst Testers.

This type of reference material is very stable and will not pick up moisture like fiber based materials. The foils are measured on FPInnovations master instrument and then sent in packages to the end user. There are foil ranges to meet all customers' needs, covering the full working range of a burst tester.
